many people in the movie industry are predicting that the future in movies will be mostly sci fi movies. I found a site that is giving peopl the oportunity to make their predictions of the type of movies that will be around. I thought that it would be interesting to make our predictions then later find out who's right.

WEll sci-fi has had a tendancy to become reality, thats for sure. I think that all genre's are going to remain. But perhaps the big money makers will be the sci-fi genre. And of course all they care about is money
ReplyDeleteSci Fi is going to greatly benefit from the advances in CGI technology, because now all the craziest monsters or whatever can be realistically shown on screen.
ReplyDeleteSci fi will take advantage of modern graphics technology such as CGI but it will not out number future romance, action, and thriller flix which movie goers seem to love. Action and fight movies seem to be one of the leading popular genre's of the younger generations! Lets think about this rationally now!
ReplyDeleteI think you will see a good mix of everything. Sci-fi is popular now and will be due to the ability to use digital images to create a realistic atmosphere on the big screen. Comedies will always be a major part of the film industry, and we will never get away from the chick-flick! Money drives this monster, and as long as guys want to get on a date with a girl, chick flicks will have their place.
ReplyDeleteI think as of right now Sci fi is in with the movies today. A majority of movies created today are Sci fi because of all of the new technologies today make the movies appear more realistic, as oppose to sci fi movies made back in the day.
